Live Music Bands for your Wedding:
If you are thinking about hiring a live band for your wedding day, then join thousands of
other people who are doing exactly the same thing. The days of DJ & Disco for you special
day are fast becoming a thing of the 20th century! For the 21st century, live music
with a great sound & light show is fast becoming a wedding necessity - almost as much
as the cake itself!
SaintZ have plenty of experience when it comes to weddings, we are able to adapt to a wide
variety of situations and requirements, from an acoustic formation during dinner, through
to the full band at the evening do. First dance music selection can be requested, along with
background music or dj support during the intervals.
Planning your wedding day with a live band can often be a daunting task, after all, it's
probably the first time you've dealt with a live band and you won't know what to do or ask
in order for your day to run smoothly. Well don't worry first of all, let us explain how
it is typically done!
SaintZ can either play two or three sets of music, typically around 1 hour in duration each.
For the three sets, we will play a light swing/big band set following the breakfast to open
with. This will set the mood for the evening, whilst allowing all your relatives and friends
to catch up on all the gossip!
Following the buffet, typically 9:00 - 9:45pm SaintZ will play another set, followed by an interval
of 15 minutes, ending with the final set playing 11:00 - midnight. Should only two sets be required,
the first set would be replaced by background music played through our PA system. If you have
booked the venue until 1:00am - then we recommend you add our DJ support, so that music will continue
until the party is finished. SaintZ can play three sets following the buffet through until 1:00am - but
this is an extra expense, please consult our fees and quotation form for further details.
SaintZ require 1 hour to setup all the equipment. We will typically arrive at the venue at 6:00pm,
so that we are ready to begin playing background music from 7:00pm or begin our first set 8:00pm
if this option is chosen.
SaintZ are a fully contained band - the only requirements are:
- Minimum performance space of 5m x 2.5m
- Access to 2 mains sockets
